Description

Laurel & Flame Fresh Organic EVOO

The Laurel & Flame Fresh is an early harvest single variety organic extra virgin olive oil from the emblematic indigenous variety Tsabidolia (tsabi means bunch in Greek), the fruiting of which grows in bunches, hence its name. The fruit comes from centuries-old olive trees over 150 years old, which grow on low hills in the plain of Ancient Olympia. Harvesting takes place during the months of September and October, giving high nutritional value to the product as well as unripe aromas of fruits and herbs. The olive extraction takes place within 4-5 hours of harvest, followed by a light filtering and bottling with the use of nitrogen. Enjoy a strong feeling of freshness in the nose from unripe green aromas such as green almond, olive leaves, freshly cut grass, tomato and green herbs shades which becomes more intense as the olive oil touches the back of the throat creating a medium bitter sensation followed by a more intense spicy element which gently burns the throat.

Polycarpos Dimitra Pure Organic EVOO

The organic extra virgin olive oil Polykarpos Dimitra Pure is a unique product due to the way it is cultivated and also due to the complex taste and olfactory impressions of this particular variety. The island of Lesvos, known for its long tradition in olive cultivation, is the place where the Xypteras family cultivates and produces the organic extra virgin olive oil Polycarpos Dimitra Pure. The early harvesting and the meticulous olive extraction, storage and standardisation give the product a high nutritional value as well as unripe fruit and herb aromas. Enjoy an intense sense of freshness in the nose from aromas of freshly cut grass, tomato leaves, artichoke and green apple, which, coupled with medium intensity bitter and spicy elements on the palate, give an unparalleled dimension to our sensory journey.

Olymythos Koroneiki EVOO

Olymythos Koroneiki EVOO is a monovarietal extra virgin olive oil from the most widespread Greek variety, Koroneiki. The harvest, depending on the prevailing climatic conditions, takes place during the month of November, from selected olive trees of different ages, from 5 to 70 years old, growing throughout the area of Ancient Olympia. Immediate oil extraction in the family’s own olive mill, filtering and bottling with the use of nitrogen, gives a high nutritional value to the product and an unparalleled taste imprint in your daily culinary creations. The perfectly balanced organoleptic profile, with a moderately intense fruity aroma and medium bitter and spicy elements, captures the typical freshness of the Koroneiki variety with an emphasis on artichoke, tomato and freshly cut grass which accompanies wonderfully vegetable dishes, soups and white meat.

Agriston Argilos V Fruity EVOO

Agriston Argilos V Fruity is an extra virgin olive oil from the rare varieties Lefkoelia and Petroelia of Serres. The fruit is harvested early, in October, in an unripe stage, thus maintaining its maximum nutritional value and bringing out unripe aromas of fruits and herbs. These unique varieties are harvested for the first time, offering a rich aromatic profile. The medium fruity aroma is followed by notes of unripe banana, green apple, freshly cut grass and tomato. On the palate, a mild bitterness starts, which evolves into an intense dense texture with citrus and herbal tones, giving way to the spicy element with a long aftertaste.

Liogennito Manaki Organic EVOO

Liogennito Organic EVOO is a single varietal extra virgin olive oil from the native variety Manaki. Its name is a compound word between the noun ‘sun’ and the verb ‘give birth’, symbolizing the birth of olive oil in the light of the sun – a meeting of two opposing forces: rootedness in matter-earth and freedom of the spirit-sun. The uniqueness of the variety provides an unparalleled tasting experience, offering a complexity of moderate to intense aromas from fig leaf, herbs, tomato leaf and almond while the mild notes of bitter and stronger notes of the spicy element leave a velvety yet rich aftertaste in the mouth with hints of green pepper.

Laurel & Flame Olympia PGI Organic EVOO

Laurel & Flame Olympia PGI is an organic extra virgin olive oil from the Koroneiki and the indigenous Kolireiki varieties which bears the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) seal, certifying its origin from the area of Ancient Olympia. Harvesting takes place during the months of October and November when the fruit is unripe, followed by the olive extraction in the family’s own olive mill, filtering and bottling with the use of nitrogen. As the flame was a gift of Prometheus to mankind and a link between the ancient and modern Olympic Games, so is this product an initiation into the world of extra virgin olive oil and a revival of an ancient gift of goddess Athena, displaying medium to intense characteristics of olive leaves, nuts, freshly cut grass, tomato and pepper in the nose which are harmoniously accompanied by moderate notes of bitter and spicy elements leaving a velvety herbal sensation in the mouth.
