Steamed monkfish fillet

Steamed monkfish fillet, chef, recipe, Giannis Apostolakis

Ingredients for 1-2 pax

  •  500 gr. monkfish fillet

  • 200 gr. spinach

  • 1 zucchini

  • 1 carrot

  •  2 peppers

  • 1 fennel

  • 2 spring onions

  • A few cherry tomatoes

  • 2 star anise

  • 150ml white wine

  • 4 – 5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (Megaritiki variety)

  • 2 tbsp parsley

  • Salt, pepper


Cut fish and vegetables into small pieces.

Over high heat, and in a deep pan, put 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, the fish, vegetables, herbs and sauté until vegetables are slightly wilted.

Add the wine and cook for about 2-3’.

Place everything on a plate, add the parsley and the rest of the extra virgin olive oil and serve.
