Spelt bread with extra virgin olive oil of Olympia-Nemoutiana variety


Recipe Vasilis Leonidou Spelt bread with extra virgin olive oil

Ingredients for 1-2 pax


  • 300 ml water

  • 250 gr spelt white flour

  • 250 gr spelt whole grain flour

  • 2 tbsp flour for the yeast

  • 25 gr fresh yeast

  • 1 tspn honey

  • 1 tspn salt

  • 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil of Olympia-Nemoutiana variety

Execution


Place the water, the 2 tbsp of flour and the yeast in a jug and leave them for 20’. Then place the two kinds of spelt flour, honey and extra virgin olive oil in a deep bowl and knead. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30’. Place the dough in a fireproof dish or cake tin on baking paper and leave for another 20’ to rise. Finally, bake in a preheated oven at 180ο C for 45′.
