Spaghetti al oglio (with garlic and basil)

Ingredients for 1-2 pax

  • 250 gr. spaghetti

  • 1-2 tbsp finely chopped garlic cloves

  • 1 tbsp finely chopped basil

  • 4-5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (Makri or Arbequina variety)

  • Salt


Boil the spaghetti according to the manufacturer’s instructions, add the salt and keep some water from the boiled spaghetti.

With about half of the olive oil sauté the garlic a little while adding the spaghetti and if necessary add a little of the water of the boiled spaghetti.

Serve adding the rest of the olive oil and a little basil. Adding a medium to intense fruity olive oil will deliver beautiful tasty notes to our dish.
