Tzortzis’ Family Olvia Green Oganic EVOO is an award winning blend of organic early harvest extra virgin olive oil produced from the Adramytini and Kolovi varieties.
The particular way of cultivation as well as the limited quantity produced, award unique characteristics such as high levels of polyphenols and balance in its organoleptic properties like a medium to intense fruity aroma of freshly cut grass, flowers, peppers and green banana and a delicate bitter and medium spicy flavour.

Tzortzis’ Family Olive Groves – Olvia Green Organic EVOOThe Tzortzis Family has been dedicated for over a century to the cultivation, production and more recently to the packaging of extra virgin olive oil on the island of Lesvos, a place historically identified with the olive tree. On the eastern side of the island, in the villages of Pigi and Komi, the 350 hectares of olive trees are dominant, whereby following the strict standards of biodynamic cultivation (Demeter & DIO certification), the fruit is harvested in early October when it is still unripe. The oil extraction follows in the family’s own mill using the cold pressed method.
The oil extraction, packaging and storing of the olive oil at the company’s premises is performed according to certified and recognized standards (FSSC 22000, ISO 22000:2005), preserving in this way the premium quality of the product.
The varieties cultivated, for the production of Olvia Green Organic EVOO, are the local varieties of the island, mainly Adramytini and to a lesser extent Kolovi.
