Olivian Groves – Hermione Single Estate EVOO

The company Olivian Groves operates through privately owned olive groves in the region of the north-eastern Peloponnese, specifically in the prefecture of Argolis. The company’s single estate, consisting of 35,000 olive trees, is located in a mountainous and semi-mountainous landscape with the best climatic and soil conditions for the cultivation of the Manaki variety.

Aiming at the full vertical integration of all stages of production and standardization, the company is committed to the principles of sustainable development along the following axes: environmentally, producing with the lowest possible carbon footprint and preserving local biodiversity; economically, investing in new models of agricultural development such as the new automatic irrigation system guided by the data provided by weather stations; and finally, supporting local communities with jobs, building partnerships, ensuring the sustainability of the company’s products and services.

Harvesting begins in early October and is carried out exclusively by hand, just before the fruit ripens. The olive extraction is performed on the harvest day, following the cold pressed method in a cooperating two-phase olive mill. Storage in stainless steel tanks and under controlled temperature conditions ensure the excellent quality and shelf life of the final product.

The variety cultivated for the production of Hermione Single Estate EVOO is Manaki.
