Greek Salad

Ingredients for 1-2 pax

  • 1-2 tomatoes or a few cherry tomatoes

  • 1 cucumber, sliced

  • 1 pepper (green or red or mixed) cut into rings

  • 50 -70 gr. feta cheese

  • Kalamon olives, onion, capper, a few purslane leaves

  • 4-5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (Koroneiki or Nemoutiana variety)

  • Salt, oregano


On a large plate, we place the tomatoes in slices or coarse cubes or the cherry tomatoes cut in half and we add the cucumber, peppers, kalamon olives, onion, capper, purslane and feta cheese in cubes.

Pour the extra virgin olive oil on the salad, adding salt and oregano and stirring lightly. The moderate to intense bitter and spicy taste of Koroneiki and Nemοutiana emphasize the sweet taste of the tomato.
